Because of the expense and inconvenience of shipping organs overseas, advertisers should state which country they come from, and whether they are prepared to ship instruments to other countries, or whether they expect the buyer to collect, or arrange his own shipping, etc.  This will save a lot of needless correspondence.

Wintle of Lawshall Suffolk and bearing his Logo on the lid.  Hand cranked, converted from a coin slot operation by Canon Wintle.  His housekeeper confirmed this when she came to play it! For Sale:   John Smith design 26-note organ, This was partly made by a retired carpenter who also enjoyed model engineering hence the brass parts in place of the wooden ones in the design. It has all the ranks present: two stopped flutes one open flute and one octave open flutes. Plays quite nicely but really needs a bit of TLC to make it sparkle. Case has a marquetry panel. Also comes with the rolls of music, 16 rolls in all consisting of 35 titles. At least £400 worth of music alone!! For Sale:  Castlewood Busker Organ kit number 00187. This is a complete Castlewood Organ Kit. I bought it two years ago, but due to other commitments I do not have the time to assemble it.  Still in original box with all packaging. This is a complete kit with all the parts: pre cut wooden parts, gears, air pipes, bellow coverings, instruction book etc, to make a 20 note busker organ that plays John Smith rolls.  I also have some glues, shellac etc that are needed to assemble the organ, and will include these in the sale.  I paid just over£1000 (including import taxes etc). Other Mechanical Organs, etc.
For Sale: 31-Keyless Dean street organ complete with glockenspiel. The organ works on electricity or generator, compressor included. Also included are a mechanical monkey and music books, with approx 3 hours continuous playing time. The organ is currently fitted inside an ex BT Sherpa Van first registered in 1984, which spent 15 years of its life in a BT museum. The van will need road tax and an MOT certificate, but has a full service history and parts manual.  There is also a box trailer which was used to transport the organ previously. SOLD		5/10

For Sale: 65k Ruth organ converted from barrel operation in the 1920s. Arthur Prinsen did some restoration work in the 1960s and this is where the majority of the music comes from. There are over 100 books with the organ.  It came to the UK in the 1970s, was fitted with a new front, & placed in a display vehicle where it still resides. In the late 1980s it was restored by Andrew Whitehead who added the glockenspiel. The organ plays well, and the whole unit is ready to rally.
