Join the Meccano Web Ring

If you have a Meccano web site, you can join the ring.  It is completely free of charge and you will enjoy increased traffic, and a greater awareness of your site in the Meccano community.  You may edit or remove your listing from the Ring at any time.  Your web site must be about the Meccano system, not Dinky Toys or Hornby Trains, etc.

All you have to do is to place a small section of code (which will be given to you) onto your home page.  This contains a small version of the Ring logo, and the buttons to navigate around the Ring.

If your Meccano pages form part of a larger web site, you should place the code on the front page of the Meccano section of your web site.  You can, of course, link to your non-Meccano pages as you wish, within your own web site.

You do not have to understand HTML coding to join, you do not have to carry advertising on your page, and you will not be spammed.  The Meccano Web Ring system is set up on its own independent server, so there are no commercial interests, and your details will remain private.

Please Note: I am no longer accepting non-Meccano sites into the Meccano Web Ring.
This means sites about similar construction systems.  In January 2003, MeccanoSN requested the removal of certain sites carrying the Meccano logo on a site that promotes a non-Meccano system.  Therefore, to protect the Web Ring and those sites from possible legal action, I no longer accept non-Meccano sites into the Meccano Web Ring.  If you have any doubt about whether your site is suitable for the Meccano Web Ring, please contact me before applying.
