NON-PAYOUT  MACHINES

There were a large variety of non-payout machines in British arcades.  These were not subject to the gambling laws, as they are regarded as providing a service in exchange for coins.

A stereo viewer.  The modern equivalent of a "What the Butler Saw" machine.

A machine that tells jokes!

A Lighthouse Grip Tester.  Squeezing the handles would cause the windows to progressively light up. This Kiss-O-Meter measured the strength of your kisses, purely by the rotation of the knobs at the bottom!!
